During this field trip I have learned a lot about three of the major religions of Kuala Lumpur. To see and understand better these religions we went to their places of worship witch include, a Mosque, a Hindu temple and a Chinese temple.
Something that I thought was very interesting about the Mosque is that it was built apron symmetrical patterns, there were also a lot of small minarets in witch there would be a speaker to call out for prayer. There were also a lot of walls made out of the pattern of stars.
We we went to the Hindu temple everyone noticed all the bight colors and all the statues there were. I found this temple beautiful. There were small rooms in witch there would be a statue raped around cloth. They were quite shinny and people would come by and pray to them. There were also several walls covered with pictures and statues that looked as if they were representing a story.
The last temple that we visited was a Chinese temple. This one's structure was painted fully in red, representing good luck. Inside there were a lot more people than in the other places to worship. It was full of incense- perhaps even to much. There were a lot of small statues and people would but incense sticks in special urns for the different gods. There were also smaller rooms were people would give offerings and pray to only one specific god.
In conclusion all the different religions had different places to worship and were very different but all of them have a same theme idea- worship and pray.
