Religion field trip

During this field trip I have learned a lot about three of the major religions of Kuala Lumpur. To see and understand better these religions we went to their places of worship witch include, a Mosque, a Hindu temple and a Chinese temple.
Something that I thought was very interesting about the Mosque is that it was built apron symmetrical patterns, there were also a lot of small minarets in witch there would be a speaker to call out for prayer. There were also a lot of walls made out of the pattern of stars.
We we went to the Hindu temple everyone noticed all the bight colors and all the statues there were. I found this temple beautiful. There were small rooms in witch there would be a statue raped around cloth. They were quite shinny and people would come by and pray to them. There were also several walls covered with pictures and statues that looked as if they were representing a story.
The last temple that we visited was a Chinese temple. This one's structure was painted fully in red, representing good luck. Inside there were a lot more people than in the other places to worship. It was full of incense- perhaps even to much. There were a lot of small statues and people would but incense sticks in special urns for the different gods. There were also smaller rooms were people would give offerings and pray to only one specific god.

In conclusion all the different religions had different places to worship and were very different but all of them have a same theme idea- worship and pray.

Opposites

Me and my partner decided that these were clearly opposite pictures. We thought this because on the picture at the right you can see to different ecosystems. On a side you can see the city- skyscraper, and the Petronas Twin tower and other buildings- and you can also see the rainforest. Trees and other bushes. On the left you can see some blades of grass that represent Earth and the sky. In conclusion I think that theses opposites are very clear.

Do you agree of disagree?

Is it acceptable to remove a member of a society or group if he or she is thought to be inferior to the others?
I completely disagree with this statement. I believe that it is completely unacceptable to do such thing. I believe that everyone is equal to each other an that everyone have the right to have there believes and there opinions. Your skin color, your religion your culture or your language shouldn't be an excuse so that you are excluded form a group in society or you can be treated un respectfully. Something that has made my thoughts come to this conclusion has been the reading of the book The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne. This has been because it has shown me how terrible and how miserable the Nazi party could be to the Jews back in the 1940's. In conclusion I restate that it is a terrible thing to remove a member of a society or group if he or she is thought to be inferior to others.

What is a 'good' life?

I think that to live a good life means to live a life in which you are happy all the time. This might have to do with finding your inner peace by having a religion or by simply living happily. I think that having a good life is very important because if you aren't happy in life then life can't as marvelous as it can be. I don´t think that they way to find this inner peace or happiness can only be done one way. Witch ever the way is to find it the point is to achieve it and to live a good life.

JOURNEY BOOK-The Diamond Girls

The Diamond Girls by Jacqueline Wilson

"Dixie, Rochelle, Jude and Martine - the Diamond girls! They might sound like a girl band but these sisters´lives are anything but glamorous. They´ve moved into a terrible house on a run-down estate and after barely five minutes Rochelle´s flirting, Jude´s fighting and Martine´s storming off. Even though Dixie´s the youngest, she´s desperate to get the house fixed up before Mum comes home with her new baby. Will the Diamond girls pull together in time for the first Diamond boy?".(Blurb) This quote explains perfectly the journey in the book. I think that they will put it together before mom comes.
